Who We Are . . .
Friends of African Children is a Non-Profit Charitable Organization located in Orlando, Florida-USA. We are an array of people who want to make a difference in the lives of African children. We are active in the Democratic Republic of Congo where we created and support two schools: "Complexe Scolaire la Reference" in Kasai province and Groupe Scolaire Malaïka in Kinshasa, along with an Orphanage: Providence House and a Women's Learning Center.
Our schools provides education from prekindergarten through secondary level for over 1,500 children. We also provide nutritious meals and accommodations for orphans ages 2 to 18 years old. The women's center provides literacy classes, microeconomic loan opportunities and other support services. It caters to women from 22-80 years of age.
